About Me
I am a creative media professional and change agent with 25 years’ experience in digital media and emerging platforms. I have worked in regional and national media, as well as “big tech.”
I was with Yahoo in the early days and helped usher in an exciting new way for people to get information, news, and entertainment.
I then went to public media and spent 15 years leading digital transformation and acceleration at major-market stations (KQED in San Francisco and WHYY in Philadelphia).
I’ve led strategy, launched digital news brands, built teams from scratch, reorganized teams, created a bunch of digital products (websites, apps, podcasts, video), shepherded business and editorial partnerships, and enjoyed every minute of it.
Working with me means
You’ll get the unique combination of someone who knows all aspects of the digital business, including platform technology, products, content, revenue generation, and business strategy.
You’ll get an empathetic problem solver who can see a problem from all sides and come up with solutions that are pragmatic and ambitious at the same time.
You’ll get a smart risk taker, someone able to challenge the status quo while strengthening the things that work.
And as you can tell by now, you’ll get someone who cares about what we do.
