Case Study: A.I. Nation Podcast

Higher Ed Partners With Public Media to Reach New Audiences, Update Brand

Princeton University was looking for ways to showcase its accomplished and renowned faculty, researchers, and professors in an effort to grow its reputation as a place of innovation and a hub of technological and scientific advancement.

I worked with Princeton and WHYY to create A.I. Nation, a national podcast that explained — in an entertaining and easy-to-understand way — the role artificial intelligence plays in our modern lives, and what we should really be worried about.

In addition to creating the podcast, I also served as the show runner for the first season, overseeing production as well as the national marketing and public relations campaigns, which earned press from Forbes and NPR, among others.

A.I. Nation was promoted by Apple Podcasts and Spotify, the two leading podcast platforms.

A.I. Nation has received 250K downloads to date and was considered a success by both participating organizations. I am currently developing a second program for WHYY and Princeton, also on the theme of technology and culture.
